Dr. Andrea McQueen

Dr. Andrea McQueen was born and raised in the great state of Michigan. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business before attending Michigan State University where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003.

In 2011 she earned her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute, while pursuing her interests in Eastern Medicine.

Dr. McQueen practices small animal medicine, surgery, and integrative medicine. She is passionate about making a difference in her patients’ lives and strengthening the human-animal bond.

She enjoys tackling new challenges in her work, and draws upon past experience as well as new tools to help promote that bond. In her future work, she hopes to learn more about integrative medicine and how that can contribute to better quality of life for senior pets.

Dr. McQueen resides locally with her husband, Rick, her two sons, and dogs, Ike and Roxi (shown below). Outside of work she enjoys the beautiful Michigan outdoors, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.
