Fear Free:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you for helping out with getting your shifts covered!\u00a0 I really appreciate it!<\/p>\n

Make sure to give me your time off requests as soon as you know your dates.\u00a0 Please check the schedule to make sure someone has not requested that time off yet.\u00a0 If you don’t hear from me then your request for time off is approved.<\/p>\n

Please be fair with time off (especially around holidays, breaks, etc)<\/p>\n

We will be short staffed with doctors November and December.\u00a0 We will need volunteers to take time off during those times.\u00a0 I will post those dates soon.\u00a0 Most Saturdays and Fridays will be used for mainly emergencies and same day appointments.<\/p>\n

We will be sending people home if we are over staffed and not busy.\u00a0 Please be productive during slow times.\u00a0 Deep clean, take care of controls on lab equipment, stock, clean autoclave.\u00a0 There are lists in drawer under autoclave on things that need to be done if you need some guidance.<\/p>\n

Promoting Professional Wellness:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We want to optimize our practice culture!\u00a0 We already have a great culture and positive environment but we want to be sure we have it stay that way!\u00a0 We have a consistent pattern\u00a0from November thru February\/March of having sort of a “dark cloud” hanging over the clinic and we want to make sure that does not happen this year!<\/p>\n

You must be responsible for your own self-care and have accountability for your own attitude, behavior and actions.<\/p>\n

We want to help with burn out and compassion fatigue.\u00a0 I will post websites and phone numbers that you can access if needed.\u00a0 Please also come to me either via email or face to face if you feel you are struggling with burn out or compassion fatigue.<\/p>\n

Strive for harmony in your life, not balance.<\/p>\n

Find refuge at work: you should feel safe, valued and respected here.<\/p>\n

Focus more on positive thoughts such as gratitude, happiness, confidence, and pride.<\/p>\n

Ask yourself:<\/p>\n

What do I want from my team members and how can I be that to them?<\/p>\n

What can others do to make the environment more positive and how can I make the environment more positive?<\/p>\n

What can we do as a team to improve our culture together?<\/p>\n

We need to invest in ourselves and our team!<\/p>\n

Through AAHA, they are recommending that the employee reviews be restructured to put more focus on behavior and attitude that promotes a positive culture not just on skills and productivity.<\/p>\n
