Also, surgical teams……please be sure to communicate.\u00a0 The technicians who were back in surgery are responsible for discharges.\u00a0 Please be sure to communicate with your fellow surgical technicians before you leave about any patient that will be going home that evening and go over all patient care and discharge info with the technician who is working late……I work late every Monday and Thursday so don’t hesitate to go over things with me or Sarah who works late on Mondays or Jenny who works late on Thursdays.\u00a0 Surgery days are hectic so we need to stay organized and communicate well.\u00a0 Discharging patients can be very difficult if we don’t have all the info we need.\u00a0I hope this will lessen the frustration\u00a0in the evenings.<\/p>\n
