We need to implement a few things to pass AAHA inspection…<\/p>\n
1. Write mls and mgs on all drug dosages.<\/p>\n
2. Be sure to print an Emergency Drug Calculator form for each patient who is being anesthetised.<\/p>\n
3.Everyone has an understanding of AAHA and it’s benefits.<\/p>\n
4. Cap and mask MUST be worn in surgery AND for dental cleanings.\u00a0 Do we have goggles designated for dentals only?? If not, I need to order some.<\/p>\n
5. We now have a radiology log located in the radiology room that MUST be filled out for EVERY patient.<\/p>\n
6. Surgical laundry needs to be washed separate from all other laundry.<\/p>\n
This is just the beginning on the things we need to do for AAHA.\u00a0 Please let me know what your thoughts are and any questions you have.<\/p>\n
